The History Project will hold its next conference, on "The New Economic History of India," on May 11-12, 2017, at the University of Cambridge. The conference will be particularly concerned with the economic history of India in relation to exchanges across frontiers, the history of the law, and the history of economic thought. The organizing committee welcomes proposals for papers, on any period, from advanced undergraduates, graduate students, and recent Ph.D. recipients.
